Hunter Safety

Members of the Kalkaska County Sheriff Office, Michigan State Police and Michigan Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division have joined together to provide hunter and outdoor safety education for the youth of the Kalkaska Area.
Their goal is to promote safe hunting and conservation while instilling integrity and the continuance of tradition in our future sportsman.

- The volunteer instructors for putting in all the time they do to carry on the tradition.
- The Village of Kalkaska and Kalkaska Department of Public Safety for allowing us to use their facilities, free of charge, to host our event.

- Northern Design Services for donating eye protection, ear protection, and a blaze orange vest for every participant.
- Lake Effect Guns & Gear for their donation that helps us offer this entire course for FREE.
